Do you deliver Australia wide? 
Yes. We are based in Sydney and deliver Australia wide!

Do you deliver on weekends? 
No we don’t, we use Australia express postal services and they only operate on weekdays.

Do you have a shipping fee? We offer complimentary shipping on domestic ground orders $200.00 or more.

All orders, placed Monday-Friday after 12pm will be processed the following business day.

Orders less than $200.00, an additional fee of $12.99 applies. 

All orders placed Saturday or Sunday will be processed on Monday.

  • This includes a prepaid return label to place on your resealable post bag, when returning your order back to us.

All prices on our website are denominated in Australian dollars.

How long does shipping take?
We post all our hire items via Express Australia post.

The estimated standard delivery time for express post is:
Minimum 1-2 business days for metro locations – depending on your postcode and the time you submitted your order.

Please allow 3-4 business days for arrival if you live in a rural location.

(This does not include the cleaning and repacking period, which can typically take up to 1-2 business days at most.)

Do I have to sign for my order?
Yes, all orders require signature upon arrival.
Anyone who is present at the time of delivery can sign on your behalf. In the event that Australia Post is unable to successfully deliver the parcel, it will be redirected to the nearest post office for collection.

As a rental customer, you are responsible for being available for delivery at the scheduled time. Your rental period begins when the courier first attempts delivery, and no store credits will be issued for late delivery due to unavailability, unless agreed otherwise in writing.

We cannot be held responsible for any issues caused by an insecure or unattended shipping address.

Once delivery has been made to your designated address you bear all responsibility for the Item. If you have opted to have your order delivered to your work address or mailroom, responsibility is transferred to you upon the mailroom's signature.

Postage delays:
The Hiring Corner’s delivery service, facilitated by Australia Post ensures timely delivery with proper addresses and post collection. In the unlikely event that there is a postage delay, unfortunately we do not provide refunds. 

It is the customers responsibility to select the correct desired rental dates: Start with the day you want the garment delivered or the date of your event and then choose from either a 4, 5, 6, 7 or 8 day rental period. This helps us schedule ahead of time to prevent any delays.

It is also the customer's responsibility to calculate the estimated delivery time to their location before checking out. Make sure to place your order in a timely manner to ensure a prompt delivery. In the rare event of delay caused by major force or impossibility, we offer store credit as compensation. Avoid complications by verifying addresses before checkout.

How do I return my garment?

After delivery to your designated address, you assume full liability for the garment. To return the dress, please use the prepaid return express postage satchel provided.
Make sure to place the rental in the envelope and return it to your nearest Australia Post office by 4pm on the last day of your rental.

Using street boxes is not allowed and may result in late fees. Please submit your rental at an Australia Post counter to ensure proper tracking and proof of lodgement. Posting it in a street post box will not create a record until it reaches a scanning depot, leaving no evidence of you mailing the item and making you responsible for any loss. The borrower will be held liable for the full cost of the hired item(s) if an order is lodged through a post box and does not reach its destination. The Hiring Corner is not liable for any issues that may arise.

I lost my return slip or my delivery bag is damaged: Upon arrival at your designated address, you assume full responsibility for the hired garment(s). In case of lost return packaging, it is your responsibility to use trackable express post for returning the garment. You must cover the cost of an express return satchel and provide us with the tracking number. The Hiring Corner cannot be held accountable for late or undelivered items based on your chosen shipping method.

By continuing to use The Hiring Corner’s services, you are consenting to this contract and authorising The Hiring Corner to assess fees for any damaged or lost items to the payment method you used at checkout. You will have the opportunity to select an alternate payment method prior to being charged.
