Do you have a store? 
No, we are online operated only.

Can I book a try on? 
Unfortunately, we do not offer any try on services. 

How long can I hire a dress for? 
We offer a 4, 5, 6, 7 or 8 day hire option. Extended hire periods may be available on some garments. Please contact us via email: thehiringcorner@mail.com for more information. 


What sizes do you stock?
The Hiring Corner offers garments in a range of different sizes as listed in the product description of each individual item. Unfortunately, we cannot stock every item in each size. 

Most styles are stretchy/ adjustable and can be quite flexible in sizing. It is important to keep in mind that each designer has their own sizing guide. Also, some fabrics may stretch from the very first wear or shrink during the cleaning process. Hiring means you will not always receive a brand new item. However, majority of our garments in stock are brand new and have never been worn.

A general description, model measurements and sizes are provided under each listing to help give an idea of the fit and structure of the garment. We aim to make all descriptions as detailed as possible. If you have any further questions regarding fit or sizing, please do not hesitate to contact us.

We will try to be as specific as possible when describing the size and fit of each garment to ensure you are choosing an item that will fit and look good on you. Another great way to decide on sizing prior to renting is to try on an item or similar in stores such as Myer or David Jones.

New items are added every week and our collection is always expanding. If you have any suggestions/ designers you’d like to rent from or sizes you’d like to see more of - feel free to let us know!

 

What if my order doesn’t fit?
We do not offer refunds for any garments that do not fit perfectly. Please contact us immediately and we will try our best to accommodate by either sending you another size or a replacement. Please also keep in mind our stock is currently limited so sometimes an immediate replacement is not possible. If we are unable to do this, you will receive a store credit note as soon as the garment is returned back to us. 

What if my dress is too long? 
It is the hirer’s responsibility to make sure that the dress does not become damaged throughout the hiring period. Please note: Altering or making any additions to the garment is strictly prohibited.

If you fail to comply with this, The Hiring Corner reserves the right to charge you a full 100% fee of the RRP (recommended retail price) on top of the agreed rental fee. Details can be found in the product description of each listing.
 

Cancellations: 
The Hiring Corner does NOT offer refunds for event change of date or change of mind hires. Instead, you will be offered a store credit note valid for 6 months that can be put towards another garment hire at another time. 

Once your garment has been dispatched and your rental period has begun, a refund cannot be issued. 

*Please note: All items are subject to availability and we reserve the right to cancel your order at any time prior to the specified booking date if the garment is no longer available or damaged by another hirer. In this case a full refund will be issued. 


Why has the hire price changed?
Garments may go on sale/ prices can be reduced without notice. We try to keep prices updated and as accurate as possible on all platforms but in this case, please always refer to the price on our website as it is the current and accurate price.

Will my order arrive wrinkle-free? 
All orders come wrapped and protected in a waterproof satchel, perfect for unpredictable weather changes. Some fabrics such as linen may be more prone to wrinkles. If you encounter slight creases, simply hang the garment in a steamy bathroom to minimise them. Please note, do not attempt to iron the garment to avoid irreversible damage.

Credit notes: 
One credit note can be used per order, with a six month expiration. Orders paid with credit notes are considered final and cannot be refunded or exchanged for another credit note.
