Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully. By using The Hiring Corner’s services, you immediately agree to comply and be legally bound with the practices of these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to The Hiring Corner’s terms of the agreement, your only recourse is to cease using the site and services. If you are under the age of 18 years old, it is your responsibility to read through these terms and conditions with a parent/ guardian. 

This website is operated by The Hiring Corner and is hereinafter referred to as “The Hiring Corner”, “we”, “us”, or “our”. A Violation or breach of any of the terms will result in an immediate termination of your services. The Hiring Corner reserves the right to suspend, restrict or terminate your access without notice. 

The Hiring Corner reserves the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time as its sole discretion, including prices of listed items, delivery and even service fees, at any time without prior notice. If we do change the contents of our Terms and Conditions, our "(Last updated date)" shown at the top of this page will be updated. If you do not agree to The Hiring Corner’s terms of agreement, your only recourse is to cease using the site and services.

All orders made with The Hiring Corner are highly secured and we take every customers privacy very seriously. All personal information and credit card details are secured through PayPal during the payment process. The Hiring Corner will collect personal information (Full name/ email address and contact number) upon check out. This information is only collected through our website. Customer’s responsibilities:

1. Garment care: 

  • Upon the garment's arrival at the designated location, the customer assumes responsibility for its safekeeping and return to our facility in its original condition.
  • This garment is for your personal use only and It must stay under your own possession and control throughout the entire hire period. This will help to minimise any mishaps that may occur.
  • Keep in mind that some garments are more delicate than others. Please hang up the garment as soon as you receive it and ensure it is out of reach from children or pets.

Before and after each rental, our garments are professionally hand-washed or dry-cleaned by our rental partners to keep them in the best possible condition. Every garment goes through a meticulous quality control checklist and is inspected by our staff to avoid any disappointments on your special day.

However in saying this, please keep in mind that some garments have been worn before by other customers and are expected to sometimes have very minor signs of wear. Anything that is deemed unwearable is either replaced or removed immediately from our website. 

 

    2. Incorrect or faulty items: 

    • In the unlikely case that you receive your parcel and notice it is an incorrect or faulty item (For example: Noticeable stains etc.), please contact us within 3 HOURS via email with your name, order number, a clear description and photos of the damage and we will do our best to send you either a refund, replacement or credit note. If we are not notified within this timeframe, you may lose the right to dispute this matter and we reserve the right to refuse a refund as it will not be clear who the damage was caused by. 
    • In the unlikely case that we are unable to fulfil your order or another hirer has ruined the garment beyond repair, you will be contacted immediately. Please also keep in mind our stock is currently limited so sometimes an immediate replacement is not possible.

    • We rely on our customers to return their order within their rental agreement time frame and in the condition they received it in. This is why we have in place a strict additional late charge/ fee to avoid any disappointments.  Unfortunately, sometimes these issues are out of our control but we will do our best to accommodate. 

    Additional fees/ charges: 

    3. Cleaning or damages:

    • We understand that small accidents can happen, there will be no fees charged as long as the stains are removable. A complimentary before and after cleaning fee is included in the agreed rental fee. 

    • If it is returned with any tears/ excessive stains and/ or marks such as: (Fake tan, food or drinks stains etc.) You will be charged an extra $30 deep clean fee. Use of fake tan is at your own discretion. 
    • Any costs of repairs for damages to the garment (broken zips, hems, seams etc.) will be at your expense. 

    • When the garment has been returned back to us, we will assess the damages and you will be notified via email the costs of repairing the garment.  Keep in mind each garment will vary in prices. By continuing to use The Hiring Corner's services, you automatically consent to us charging the credit card on file within 24 hours if we have not received a response from you. 

    • If any damages occur to the hired garment during the hire period, The Hiring Corner must be contacted immediately via instagram DM or email with a clear description and photos of the damage. 

    • Please do NOT attempt to clean garments and you are also under no circumstances allowed to make any alterations or additions to the garment. 


    4. Late returns: 

    At The Hiring Corner, we depend on our customers to return their garment(s) on time to make the hire process work effectively and efficiently and to avoid disrupting the next customers order. When an order is returned to us late, it impacts our ability to clean and prepare it in time for the next hirer. This is why we have in place a strict additional late charges/ fees to avoid any disappointments. 

    *If you are unable to return your order on the set return date, please contact us immediately. 

    The Hiring Corner is entitled to charge an additional $50/ per day late fee (excluding Sundays and public holidays) until the garment(s) is returned. This fee will be automatically charged via credit card to reimburse for the disruption and each day that the item is late in being returned. 

    Late fees will be strictly capped at 14 days. If the hired garment(s) is returned to us 14 days (excluding Sundays and public holidays) after the agreed return date, we will automatically mark this as non-returnable

    *If you fail to comply with any of the above, The Hiring Corner reserves the right to charge you a full 100% fee of the RRP (recommended retail price) in order to replace the item or compensate for the loss and disruption of business. This fee will be on top of the agreed rental price as well late return fees and damages that are beyond repair. Details can be found in the product description. You will be charged the amount to the credit card on file.

    In the event that a borrower fails to make late fees or adequate contact when required to do so, the matter will be passed on to an external debt-collection agency for recovery. Legal action may also be taken if necessary. 

    By using The Hiring Corner’s services, you immediately agree to comply and be legally bound with the practices of these Terms and Conditions.

    The Hiring Corner reserves the right to terminate your right to use our services at any time at our own discretion for breach of this agreement or for any other reason.
